A stunning antique French collar necklace from the early 20th Century adorned with seventeen lustrous pearls that have been tested as natural saltwater pearls and detailed in the accompanying LFG pearl report. They have a rich creamy tone and sit between open, navette links that graduate in size toward a detachable dropper at the end. Each is bordered with glittering old cut diamonds, totalling approx. 3.5ct.
Pearls are the birthstone of June and a true treasure of the ocean, produced organically by fresh and saltwater molluscs. Their spherical shape and exceptional lustre have long been associated with the beauty of the moon and are symbolic of purity, serenity, and loyalty.
Each link is fashioned in platinum and is edged with milgrain with pierced sides. It’s held by a box clasp and safety chain at the end and features a French Rhino hallmark on the side for Platinum.
It’s an exceptional antique necklace with a gorgeous array of natural gems. Perfect for a wedding or glamorous evening do.
We recommend you insure for £14,000. We can provide a written Valuation on completion of the sale.
